Good News!

For once there is some good news!

Pontin’s holiday camp are redeveloping their holiday centres creating 2,000 jobs. US sandwich chain Subway is creating 7,000 jobs in the UK  by the end of 2010 as it plans to open another 600 stores. Asda is creating 7,000 jobs across the UK this year. BSkyB the Satellite broadcaster are to create 1,000 positions. Supermarket chain Tesco plans to create up to 10,000 new jobs with new store openings this year. Sainsbury’s are going to create 5,000 new jobs this year, in 50 new convenience stores and a few new supermarkets. Waitrose is to create 4,000 new jobs as part of an expansion drive and Iceland are to create 2,500 jobs after buying 51 Woolworths stores!
